 Sail With the Filmmakers
Sail With the Filmmakers

A special thanks to the Coastal Georgia Film Society, Janet Brinko of the St. Marys CVB, and Barbara Ryan of St. Marys Magazine for offering such a warm welcome.  Thanks also to the downtown merchants of St. Marys, GA and the mayor for greeting our Oscar short-listed director, Andy Abrahams Wilson and offering such a nice reception and tour of the area.

We truly appreciate the reception offered by the Riverview Hoteland the Goodbread House Inn, and the spread they put before us.

Filmmakers truly enjoyed the rustic beauty of the landscape and back waterways the Cumberland Sound Ferry gave them access to, as well as the lively narration by our owner, Captain Kevin McCarthy.  All were intrigued by the charm, rich history and overwhelming hospitality of the area.

We hope to see filmmakers back in our area to make movies in the near future!

Special thanks to all the folks who joined us for a spectacular day of sailing on Valentine's Day!
Our passengers really enjoyed the lively narration of Capt. Pajama Dave dressed up as Cupid.
We hope to see you again - perhaps on St. Patty's Day as Capt. Dave returns as a leprechaun!

Have you seen this man?  Our own Captain "Pajama Dave"
stole the show on our first, annual Holiday Lighthouse Tour
which occured this past Saturday, December 19th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Guests received a rowdy send off from our very own Fernandina Pirates,
then sailed to the Amelia Lighthouse to the sound of Ray Charles
and other festival holiday tunes.  The wind died down and the water
was a still as glass as we enjoyed the quiet and ambience of Egan's Creek.
As the sun went down we saw an explosion of color behind us.
A little further up the creek, guests stared silently at the Lighthouse that
sat beneath a crescent moon.  Thanks again to all the folks
who joined us this year.  We hope you have a bless holiday season
and come back to join us in a bigger and better event in 2010!

Weddings and other joyous occasions
on our boats
. see wedding photos

We always enjoy the opportunity to host a wedding
or other joyous occasions on our boats.
On Saturday, September 26, 2009, we had the
added treat of canine participation in the bridal party
of the Quintero/Holland wedding.

Two Daschunds accompanied the brides maids and a
Chihuhua sported a tux and bow tie to bring the
rings to the bride and groom. As we all clapped at the
introduction of the married couple, each dog
barked their approval in turn.

Please keep us in mind for your special occasion,
be it a wedding, birthday party or other fun day
out on the water. Group reservations can be made by
contacting Lori Hoerl, marketing director,
at 904-491-7617 or via email at lorbell1@aol.com
