Special Events

Amelia River Cruises is an expert on planning private cruises and public fundraisers. We invite you to check out the Amelia River Cruises Specialty Tours listed on this page frequently, as they run throughout the year. Many of these cruises are fundraisers for our wonderful local non-profit organizations. Taking one of the cruises is practically the best way to learn more about an organization and meet some of the people who are already involved.

If you are interested in learning more about holding a fundraiser for your organization with one of our tours or would like to hear more about booking a private charter, please send us an email: info@AmeliaRiverCruises.com

Love Boat Party Fundraiser

Saturday, April 18, 2026
6:00 PM

Two-hours

$60.00

The Classy Conservative will host a 1970s‑themed fundraising cruise that include beverages, snacks, and a retro evening inspired by The Love Boat and the groovy glow of the decade. Boarding begins at 5:30 p.m. with a welcoming “Captain” and “Cruise Director” vibe.

The group is using this event to support its grassroots efforts, including outreach materials, keynote speakers, website maintenance, design work, and digital platforms. Their mission centers on preserving traditional social standards and strengthening community engagement, and this cruise offers supporters a chance to gather in a fun, nostalgic setting while contributing to those goals.

Guests are encouraged to embrace full 70s flair with disco music and shag carpet. Get ready to "Rock the Boat" with polyester suits, bell‑bottoms, and platform shoes.

As the vessel heads toward Cumberland Island, you'll be looking for playful dolphins, coastal birds, and Fort Clinch, a real Civil War era fort. Of course, once we cross the state line into Georgia, we will look for the feral horses of Cumberland Island. And a spring sunset is included at no additional charge on our way back to the Fernandina Harbor Marina!

The evening will focus on community connection, lighthearted celebration, and enjoying a playful throwback atmosphere on the water. Supporters can mix, mingle, and enjoy a night that blends vintage charm with modern purpose.
