Experience our multi‑passenger narrated cruise that explores the wild beauty and rich history of both Amelia Island (Florida) and Cumberland Island (Georgia). We call it the Cumberland Island Tour because visitors always ask, “Which tour goes to Cumberland Island?” The truth is that all of our boat tours do. But this 2½‑hour adventure takes you farther north than any of our other tours, giving you more time led by our fun, knowledgeable U.S. Coast Guard certified captains. This is the most immersive way to experience two islands, two states, and one unforgettable cruise.

Cumberland and Amelia Islands have wildlife and stories that make this area unforgettable. You’ll uncover secrets of the eight flags that have ruled over Amelia Island as we glide past Fernandina’s shrimp boats, and a real civil war era fort. You’ll hear fascinating backgrounds of some of the most famous names of the Gilded Age like Rockefeller and Carnegie as we pass by sacred grounds and seek out the wild horses of Cumberland Island. You’ll even get some history about Kings Bay Naval Base in Geogia, home to the Ohio-class nuclear submarines, a favorite highlight for military buffs and curious minds alike.

But it’s not just history that makes this tour unforgettable, it’s the wildlife! Look for playful dolphins showing off as they surface. You may see feral horses on the shorelines, birds diving into the water, alligators sunning, sea turtles, majestic birds, manatee… and more!

You never know what you’ll spot along the shorelines, in the water, on land, or in the skies.

Cumberland Island is a protected National Seashore with limited daily access, so our boat tours offers a beautiful way to experience its wildlife, beaches, and history from the water. The Cumberland Island tour offer you the space to relax, the freedom to bring your own drinks (yes, even alcohol – it departs at 10:00 a.m., however we don’t judge), and the thrill of discovery in one of the most unique, scenic and biodiverse ecosystems in the Southeast.
