As part of the 2017 Wild Amelia Nature Festival, Amelia River Cruises will bring you close up and personal with the landscape, wildlife and Eco-System that make northeast Florida a truly unique experience. Come join owner, Kevin McCarthy, and our on-staff marine biologist as we explore the backwaters including the Belles River, Tiger Creek and the Cumberland Sound.

Bronze Civilian Conservation Worker Statue

 

Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC)Worker Statue Fund Raising Finale

Come celebrate the culmination of the fund-raising campaign to acquire a 6 ft. bronze Civilian Conservation Worker Statue for Ft. Clinch State Park. The statue will honor the work that
CCC Company 1420 performed in restoring the historic fort and constructing the campgrounds, park roads and museum. Our park was one of more than 800 parks nationwide that benefited from their work. Jim McCannell will give a short presentation on the importance of the CCC in our nation’s history especially in developing our beautiful Ft. Clinch State Park and announce the timetable for the statue installation. Your all inclusive cruise includes entertainment by guitarist & vocalist Richard Stratton, light refreshments provided by The Salty Pelican and soft drinks/water. Individuals may BYOB if so desired.

We are doing a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate and welcome our newest boat, Miss Kieren Marie to our fleet. At the same time you can meet our new marine biologist which will be kicking off our Shrimping Eco Tours for the season. There will be lots of toasts!
