Christina Ranney Marine Biologist on the shrimping Eco Tour

Amelia River Cruises’ Shrimping Eco Tour is filled with hands on fun and excitement for the entire family. An interactive exploration of the surrounding intercoastal waters, our guests will be coached on how to use a shrimp net. Then they will be welcome to try out their new skills but deploying and retrieving the net themselves.  Any catch will be displayed in an on-board aquarium. Our Marine Biologists will be on board to identify each creature, provide information, answer questions then safely release the animals back into the wild.

Our guest Mrs. Bryan said, “The Shrimping Eco Tour was so much fun! My kids loved learning about the local birds and animals and the fact they were able to help the Marine Biologist with the nets and see the creatures up close, well, that was really special. It’s a memory I’m sure they will enjoy for years to come.”
